On Saturday, April 27, at 8:30 p.m., Agriturismo Poggio Corbello invites you to a unique food and wine experience.

In collaboration with the Morisfarms winery, we are offering a tasting dinner that will take you on a journey of discovery of the flavors of the Maremma and the fine wines produced by this company of excellence.

An exquisite and creative menu

Our chef has devised a menu that enhances local products, masterfully pairing them with Morisfarms wines.

The evening will begin with an appetizer full of tasty treats:

    • black cereal schiacciata with mortadella mousse and almond flakes,
    • cecina with eggplant and confit tomatoes,
    • cauliflower and almond ricotta with anchovy and herb pesto,
    • wild boar croquette with lime gel, and
    • cinta senese miniburger with medlar ketchup.

All accompanied by Amor 2023, a fresh and aromatic white wine.

 

Next, the appetizer will surprise you with:

    • a pork tenderloin in a hazelnut crust and raspberry powder, served with sweet-and-sour Tropea onion. A dish with a strong and refined taste, perfectly paired with Rosamundi 2023, a full-bodied and structured red wine.

The first course is an explosion of flavors:

    • cocoa ravioli stuffed with rabbit and guinea fowl, topped with their bottoms and cherries in alcohol. An unusual and intriguing pairing, enhanced by Morellino di Scansano Riserva 2019, a complex and elegant red wine.

The second course is an homage to Tuscan tradition:

    • double-cooked maremmana royal, served with potato and leek pie and coffee sauce. A rich and flavorful dish, to be enjoyed with Avvoltore 2012, a powerful and enveloping red wine.

To end on a sweet note, a non-sweet dessert:

    • cacio cheese, pear and honey pie. A dessert with a strong and persistent taste that will leave you with a lasting memory of the evening.

The tasting dinner with Morisfarms is a unique opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the Maremma and to taste the fine wines of this renowned winery. The wines will be presented by the owner of Morisfarms, who will guide you to discover the characteristics and history of each label.

The price of the dinner is 50€ per person and includes wine tasting.
